Spatial Information and Analysis for Territories and Ecosystems

The unit conducts research on spatial information and analysis methods for agroenvironmental and territorial systems, along four lines: analyses of the structures and spatiotemporal dynamics of those systems and of how they are perceived by stakeholders; spatialized data acquisition and processing (remote sensing, DTM, GPS, etc); information system design; territorial development and agroenvironmental management methods and the role of information systems

One of its main priorities is providing training and developing shared skills. It constitutes an applied research pole of European scope in terms of spatial approaches for the environment, agriculture and territories.
